Windows installation guide

  3. Sign in and wait for owner approval if you are new.

Install on your TV
  1. Transfer the APK to your Android TV or Google TV using a trusted file manager or USB drive.
  2. Allow that file manager to install unknown apps, then open the APK and install MEDIA.
  3. Open MEDIA, enter your MEDIA server address (provided with your invitation) if asked, and scan the QR code with your phone.
  4. Sign in or request an account. New accounts wait for the owner’s approval.
  5. Confirm the additional code shown on your TV to finish pairing, then choose your profile.

Having trouble getting started?

Account waiting? The owner needs to approve it first. Pairing expired? Start again on the TV and use the new codes. No sources? Install a trusted source addon for content you have the right to watch. A failed source stays under your control: choose Switch source to try another.

Your MEDIA account

An account keeps profiles, progress, lists and settings in sync and pairs your TV. MEDIA is in a closed beta: sign up in the app, and you can watch once the owner lets you in. Manage your password, two-step verification, sessions and devices in Settings › Account in the app.

MEDIA is free: browsing, playback, addons and My Space. MEDIA Extras add more: €6 a month for 3 extras of your choice, and €1 for each one more. During the closed beta nothing is charged: the owner turns extras on.
