Catalogs
Lists of titles, such as popular, new or by genre. They become the rows you scroll.
How it works
MEDIA does not host, sell or provide any films, series or streams. It is a media center: addons tell it what exists and where to play it from, and MEDIA turns that into one calm screen.
Paste the addon's manifest URL in MEDIA. The addon says what it offers: catalogs, details, sources, subtitles, or several of these.
Catalog addons fill your Home, Movies and Series rows. Metadata addons add posters, descriptions, cast and episodes.
MEDIA asks your source addons for this title, sorts what they return by resolution and seeders, and starts the best one.
Your progress is saved to your profile and synced, so the TV app continues where the laptop stopped.
Compatibility
MEDIA speaks the Stremio addon protocol: an addon is a web address that serves a manifest.json and answers requests for catalogs, metadata, streams and subtitles. Addons written for Stremio can be installed in MEDIA by the same URL, without changes.
MEDIA reads what each addon declares and only asks it for what it supports. An addon that offers only subtitles is never asked for streams.

Details for a title: poster, backdrop, description, cast, seasons and episodes.
Where a title can be played from: direct links or peer-to-peer sources, with their resolution.
Subtitle tracks in your languages, shown in the player's subtitle menu.
Addons are made by third parties and are not reviewed or endorsed by MEDIA. Install only addons you trust, and use them only for content you have the right to watch. MEDIA does not provide or recommend sources of copyrighted material.
